The next step in the HIPAAssociates process is to conduct an assessment of practice operations to determine which areas need to be addressed with regard to HIPAA.
HIPAAssociates has developed software tools to gather the required information and generate the Gap Analysis report. The process starts with a self-administered questionnaire which takes 30-60 minutes to complete. The questionnaire will guide you through the questions, provides contextual help and a Glossary, and contains follow-up questions as necessary.
HIPAAssociates provides clarification and helps fill in any gaps in the questionnaire during the first full office visit. Once the questionnaire is complete, the Gap Analysis Report is generated, which contains background on each question, identifies if a gap or possible gap has been detected, and calculates the level of compliance for each HIPAA standard.

HIPAAssociates contacts your clients at your option, in order to communicate HIPAA requirements, provide them with additional information and forms, and assess their readiness.
